Head of Product, Discovery and User Experience (in UX lab)
Guardian News & Media
London

I am a London-based customer experience strategist with over 20 years’ industry experience and a Masters in Experimental Psychology. My core area of expertise is in helping brands deliver and establish engaging customer experiences – particularly digital ones. Problem solving gets me up in the morning and innovating for customers keeps me alert, engaged and on my toes all day.

Previous roles include Customer Experience in a large global travel business, Head of Interactive in an award-winning CRM agency, Chief Operating Officer in a leading e-Learning business and Head of Digital Communications for the Office of National Statistics. My current role is in Innovation in financial services – working with customers and the business to create compelling and profitable solutions that solve real customer needs.

On a personal front, I am an audiophile and bookworm with a travel bug. I am also a published author (a beautiful 270 page book PUNK+ featuring photographs by Sheila Rock). I am still working on a series of radio shows on our human experience of music.
